The city of Jos, Plateau State, came alive as it hosted the Miss and Mister Tourism Africa International 2025 World Finals, a grand celebration of Africa’s culture, creativity and tourism excellence.
Contestants from 23 nations competed in a dazzling display of beauty, talent and purpose, reaffirming the continent’s growing influence as a global tourism destination.
Supported by the Plateau State Government under Governor Caleb Mutfwang, the event transformed Jos into a vibrant cultural hub, showcasing the city’s cool climate, scenic landscape and rich hospitality — true to its title as Nigeria’s tourism heartbeat.
Mauritius’ Reyna Amboorallee emerged as Miss Tourism Africa International 2025, while Neolin Jacob of Botswana and Margaret Abbah of Nigeria placed first and second runners-up respectively. On the men’s stage, Ednilton Delgado Da Cruz Silva from Cape Verde clinched the Mister Tourism Africa International 2025 crown, with Takunda Ryan Chitope of Zimbabwe and Evans Ezekiel of Nigeria as runners-up.
Jenna Andson Marie-Ange Meiÿe DeCastel of Gabon and Zamzam Godana of Kenya were named Tourism Ambassadors, recognized for their leadership and commitment to promoting Africa’s tourism narrative.
Founder and President Ambassador Seth Santiago Roberts described the event as “a renaissance of Africa’s identity, where culture meets commerce and creativity becomes a bridge to economic growth.” He emphasized the need for unity among African leaders and private investors to position the continent as the world’s top tourism destination.
