Indie artist, John James Olikpe, aka Jay the King has dropped his second single titled ‘Lono’ off his forthcoming, highly anticipated ‘Black sheep’ Extended Play(EP).
This is coming after the successful release of ‘Fi E Shaya’ his latest single released in May, featuring talented guitarist, Fiokee, and has garnered over 500K streams on several music platforms.
Sharing the inspiration for his new track, he said “The inspiration behind ‘Lono’ for me was looking at how God has blessed women with beauty and a body that makes a man go crazy. So the whole inspiration is just me appreciating women because all women are beautiful; every race, every shape, every size, every color.”
Jay the King hopes to drop his EP early next year and promises to feature more talented singers.
“The previous project I dropped featured Fikoee, I want my fans to expect more, different tunes and different types of music,” said Jay the king.
