The International Women Power Conference (IWPC) has reappointed High Chief Princess Dr Chetachi Ecton Nwoga as its global chairperson for another three-year term.

Nwoga’s reappointment follows the completion of her first three-year tenure, during which the organisation held international conferences in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

The conferences took place in Abuja and Banjul, The Gambia, bringing together women, policymakers, entrepreneurs and other participants to discuss issues relating to women’s leadership and empowerment.

The organisation’s president and convener, Ambassador Dr Chris Oko Odey, announced the reappointment in a statement.

Nwoga is also associated with the When In Need Foundation, a humanitarian organisation focused on supporting vulnerable people, particularly women in need.

She also serves as lifetime grand patron of the Abuja Charity Marathon, an initiative that mobilises resources to support persons with disabilities and other vulnerable individuals.

Her new tenure is expected to continue the organisation’s activities on women’s empowerment and leadership.
