Italian entrepreneur and technology strategist, Giacomo Vose, is steadily making his mark at the crossroads of innovation and social impact. Widely recognised as the founder and CEO of Wishew, a philanthropic social network, Vose is reimagining how digital technology can foster generosity and community-driven support across the world.
Born in Sardinia, Italy, on November 28, 1984, Vose studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Pisa before venturing into hardware and software design. That foundation not only gave him a strong technical background but also set the stage for his transition into business development and innovation strategy. He later worked with global technology outfits, including the open-source electronics giant, Arduino, where he played a major role in making technology more accessible and impactful.
Vose’s reputation grew during the COVID-19 pandemic when he led an international technology task force that supported institutions such as NASA and the University of Oxford in the design and rollout of emergency ventilators. His team also worked with MSC Cruises to deploy onboard safety and social distancing technologies, providing practical solutions at a critical moment.
His latest venture, Wishew, is described as a “digital ecosystem for generosity.” The platform allows users to share personal wishes or charitable goals and receive support from a global community. By blending gamification, transparency, and social empathy, Wishew is positioning itself as an alternative to traditional crowdfunding platforms while creating a culture of sustainable giving.
Speaking about his vision, Vose explained: “Technology should be more than innovation. It should empower people, inspire cooperation, and create systemic change. Wishew is our way of redefining generosity for a digital age.”
With this mission, the Italian entrepreneur is setting out to build what he calls a global reference point for individuals, organisations, and institutions seeking new ways to collaborate, empower, and uplift communities through technology.
From Sardinia to the global stage, Giacomo Vose’s work is proving that innovation, when driven by empathy, can shape not only industries but also the culture of giving worldwide.
