The Management of Iseyin College of Science and Health Technology has announced the resumption of academic activities for the new academic year, while praising the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Sefiu Olawale Oyebola Adeyeri III, for his sustained support for the institution’s development.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Proprietor of the college, Mr. Adewale Sunday Owoseni, and made available to journalists in Iseyin.
Owoseni noted that the college has enjoyed tremendous backing from the palace of the Aseyin, particularly through continuous engagement with the management on matters bordering on students’ welfare and overall institutional progress.
According to him, the traditional ruler and other stakeholders committed to the development of Iseyin have remained a strong pillar behind the success of the college.
“Kabiyesi, the Aseyin of Iseyin, alongside other stakeholders, has consistently shown deep concern for the growth of this institution and the wellbeing of our students. His support has been invaluable and reflects a genuine commitment to securing a better future for Iseyin,” Owoseni said.
He added that the college is committed to its mandate of training students who will make meaningful contributions to the healthcare sector, assuring all stakeholders that their support would not be taken for granted.
The proprietor also congratulated students on the commencement of a new academic session, announcing that lectures and other academic activities would officially begin on Monday, January 12, 2026.
Owoseni assured parents, guardians, and students that adequate measures had been put in place to ensure a smooth and productive academic year.
He further advised students to remain focused on their studies, urging them to prioritise their academic responsibilities above other engagements that could distract them from achieving academic success.
The management reiterated its resolve to continue working with traditional institutions and community leaders to promote quality health education and development in Iseyin and beyond.
