Cristiano Ronaldo has left Saudi Arabia for Madrid amid escalating regional tensions following recent military strikes across the Middle East.

The Al-Nassr captain reportedly departed Riyadh late Monday aboard his £61 million ($81 million) Bombardier Global Express 6500 private jet.

Flight tracking data indicates the aircraft took off around 8:00 pm and landed in Madrid shortly before 1:00 am after flying over Egypt and the Mediterranean.

His departure comes days after joint US-Israeli strikes in Iran triggered retaliatory attacks across the Gulf.

Riyadh has witnessed heightened security, including a recent drone strike on the United States embassy that caused minor damage and a brief fire, according to Saudi authorities.

Iranian state media also reported attacks on facilities in Bahrain, signalling the widening scope of the conflict. The situation has raised concerns among expatriates and high-profile residents in the region.

Ronaldo, who lives in Riyadh with his partner Georgina Rodríguez and their five children, has not publicly commented on his travel.

However, his swift exit reflects the growing uncertainty in the region as diplomatic, military and energy targets come under threat.

With tensions still rising, several countries have issued safety advisories, and security remains tight across major Middle Eastern cities.
