The investiture of Mr Chukwuemeka Eze, a seasoned lawyer, tax expert and an Exco member of NACCIMA, as the maiden President, Salt City Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (SALTCCIMA) will hold in Ebonyi State on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
In a statement, SALTCCIMA said the high profile event which will hold at the Super Nike Hotel, Opposite Federal Government College, Okposi, Ohaozara, LGA, Ebonyi State at 10.00 a.m. will attract dignitaries within and outside the state.
Expected at the occasion is the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Mr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, who will deliver the keynote message.
The keynote address will be delivered by the National President of Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce (NACCIMA), Otunba Dele Oye, while the President, South East Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, (SECCIMA), Mr. Humphrey Ngonadi, will deliver a goodwill message. Also Ide John C. Udeagbala, the immediate Past President of NACCIMA, will chair the occasion.
Members of the Organised Private Sector, top business leaders, community leaders and several companies CEOs in the South East, with interest in investing in Ebonyi State, will also grace the occasion as a mark of solidarity with the new SALTCCIMA boss.
Other highlights of the event include factory visit to Mmahi Ezi Salt Lake, Okposi; Ogbuoji Farm, Ogbu-Edda; Nnesco Farm, Afikpo; Focus Hotel, Afikpo, and presentation of plaques to supportive MDAs, individuals and companies that have contributed immensely to the establishment of SALTCCIMA and the progress of Ebonyi State.
As a city chamber of commerce, SALTCCIMA will serve as a viable platform for advocacy and promotion of conducive business environment and investment flows to Ebonyi State.
SALTCCIMA will be an advocacy voice for the institution of conducive business environment for commerce, industry, and other forms of economic activities of interest within the State.
The promotion, protection, and development of micro, small, medium, and large enterprises within the State will also receive priority from SALTCCIMA.
SALTCCIMA will further serve as a platform for business innovation, access to soft loans, business diversification, skills acquisition, and deepening private sector activities within the State.
