Invest more in digital economy to harness potential in Cloud, Trisonet boss, Etuk urges FG

From Laide Raheem, Abeokuta

Adigital and internet organization, Trisonet Metaverse Community, has called on the Federal Government to invest hugely in the global digital space in order to harness multi-million dollars potential in the Cloud. The Chief Executive Officer of the Community, Happiness Etuk, made the call while briefing newsmen shortly after the launch of ‘Child Education Support Initiative’, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

According to him, Trisonet Metaverse uses Web 3 technology which he described as a game-changer for the developing world, enabling partnership instead of mere consumption.

He explained that while digital products such as airtime and data originate as natural resources, they are currently locked behind technological restrictions, costing consumers money.

Etuk emphasized that Nigeria as a nation should join countries such as China, USA, Barbados and other to tap into the limitless opportunities offered by Cloud.

He stated that the Trisonet Community was purposely created by him to create an inclusive system where users, especially young students, can benefit without financial barriers.

This, Etuk pointed out, will be facilitated through the Partnership Identification Module (PIM), a revolutionary tool that allows users to join as partners rather than being  subscribers using the traditional Subscribers Identification Module -based platforms.

On the education support initiative, the CEO disclosed that the community had funded over 100,000 Nigerian students since 2017 with the aim of enhancing educational accessibility across the country.

He added that the community has been harnessing resources from the Cloud to support lifelong educational access for the young ones.
