Inter sets deadline for Lookman deal with no new offer

Ademola-Lookman-Juventus-Atalanta

Ademola Lookman in action

The final days of July are critical for Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman deal, but Inter Milan has not yet submitted an improved offer to Atalanta. Sources with direct knowledge of the situation indicate that Inter has not made a fresh proposal for the Nigerian star.

Key negotiations between the clubs are expected to take place from Monday, July 28, to Wednesday, July 30. Although there have been reports of an enhanced Inter offer worth €45 million, including add-ons, my sources have not confirmed this.

Currently, there are no direct communications between the clubs; only informal discussions are taking place among intermediaries. Inter is aware that Atalanta’s asking price remains €50 million, meaning that a bid of €45 million plus €5 million in add-ons should be sufficient to finalize the deal. Consequently, the Nerazzurri aim to resolve the situation in the coming days, especially since Lookman has prioritized a move to San Siro and is optimistic about a breakthrough soon.
