Insecurity: SGF allay fears, admonishes Nigerians to pray for President Tinubu

The Secretary To The Government Of Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume has assured Nigerians of President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to end the current spate of kidnapping across the country and Abuja.
Akume reemphasizes that President Tinubu meant well for the country and citizens as seen in the people’s people-oriented policies that are geared towards bringing Nigeria’s lost glory back on track by providing hope for the common man country as well as, enduring developmental legacies.
Speaking Saturday in Abuja while delivering his thanksgiving message at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Nyanya, Abuja, the SGF called on Nigerians especially Christians to continue to pry for his boss, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his quality Leadership and good governance which he has demonstrated by adopting the principles of unity in diversity in his appointments.

By keying into this principle, George Akume said, he has rekindled the Nigerians’ hope in the Nigerian project that was lost in the past government that came before him, which operated on nepotism, and self-centered leadership.

In his words, ” President Tinubu means well for the country and he is aware of the challenges facing the citizens at the moment.
“Economic hardships have been faced by the citizens at this moment are temporary. Government is working assiduously to end the current sufferings by the citizens”.
Akume also expressed the government’s commitment to end security challenges ranging from activities of bandits, terrorism, herdsmen attacks, and kidnapping in the country.
According to the SGF, the government has taken appropriate steps to tackle the spate of kidnappings within Abuja and other parts of the country.
He commended President Tinubu for adopting an inclusive government that has reflected in all spheres and cut across all ethnicities, groups, and beliefs.
