The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu has secured accreditation from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to offer five new courses at national and higher national diploma levels. The five new courses include National Diploma (ND) in Law, Higher National Diploma (HND) in Library & Information Science, Higher National Diploma (HND) in Cyber Security, Higher National Diploma (HND) in Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering (Automotive).
This was contained in a statement by the institute’s Public Relations Officer, Mark Eze.
The approval followed the institute’s accreditation, re-accreditation, and resource inspection of the five courses.
The achievement, according to the statement, marks the second successful NBTE accreditation exercise for the IMT in 2025, underscoring its sustained commitment to academic excellence, quality assurance, and compliance with national standards in technical and technological education.
Part of the statement read: “Strategically, the recent accreditation, re-accreditation, and resource inspection, which took place between November 18 and 20, 2025, brought into existence five new programmes. These include National Diploma (ND) Law, Higher National Diploma (HND) Library & Information Science, Higher National Diploma (HND) Cyber Security, Higher National Diploma (HND) Artificial Intelligence, and Higher National Diploma (HND) Mechanical Engineering (Automotive)
