Imo election peaceful, witnesses low voters turnout

So far, the governorship election in Imo State has been peaceful; however, most of the polling units visited by our correspondent had few voters coming out to vote.

Also, snatching of ballot boxes which characterised the last election has not been noticed in the present poll.

But candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senator Samuel Anyanwu told newsmen shortly after casting his vote in his poling unit that the ruling party allegedly made away with the Independent National Electoral National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) ballot boxes.
