IMBIL Telecom Solutions Ltd, Nigeria’s pioneer Mobile Virtual Network Enabler and Aggregator (MVNE/A), has officially concluded a strategic commercial agreement with Airtel Nigeria. The partnership marks a transformative shift in the nation’s telecommunications landscape, providing the essential infrastructure for new operators to go live.

Leveraging this new partnership, IMBIL Telecom has already successfully onboarded five Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). Several additional operators are currently in advanced stages of integration and are expected to begin commercial operations in the coming months.

Akeem Ogunkoya, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of IMBIL Telecom, commented on the milestone, saying: “Our mission is to lower the barrier to entry for aspiring telecom operators. This partnership with Airtel Nigeria provides a solid foundation for MVNOs to thrive by leveraging world-class infrastructure and scalable technology. We are proud to have five MVNOs already on board and are excited about the strong pipeline of operators preparing to enter the market. Ogunkoya also commended the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for its forward-thinking regulatory framework. He noted that the Commission’s policies have been instrumental in fostering the innovation and fair competition necessary for increased participation in the sector.

IMBIL Telecom’s MVNE/A platform delivers a comprehensive, end-to-end suite of services, including: Core network services and billing systems.

Seamless provisioning and regulatory compliance support. Scalable value-added services (VAS).

By providing this robust backend infrastructure, IMBIL allows new MVNOs to bypass technical complexities and focus entirely on customer acquisition, brand positioning, and niche service innovation.

The collaboration with Airtel Nigeria reinforces a shared vision to deepen market penetration and accelerate digital inclusion across Nigeria. As demand for flexible, customer-centric mobile services grows, IMBIL remains committed to empowering startups and established enterprises entering the digital economy.
