The emerging film star, known for her graceful presence and regal, princess-like portrayals, made this known during a recent interview with Saturday Sun, where she spoke about her ambitions and long-term career plans in the Nigerian film industry. Ada Uli said that between 2026 and 2030, she hopes to secure leading roles in notable films and television series that will allow her to showcase her depth and versatility as a performer.
“I want to secure leading roles in notable films or series that will showcase my range and talent. I also hope to receive awards or nominations for my performances, which would help solidify my position in the industry,” she said. Beyond recognition, the actress disclosed that she is keen on exploring diverse film genres and venturing into drama, comedy, and action projects in order to broaden her acting portfolio.
Ultimately, she said her goal is to become a respected and sought-after actress known for her dedication, professionalism, and ability to deliver authentic performances.
Speaking further on what would give her a sense of fulfilment as an actress, Ada Uli noted that authenticity in storytelling remains central to her artistic vision.
“Delving into the complexities of a character’s soul, uncovering their motivations, and crafting a rich backstory will make me fulfilled. Being open and vulnerable on screen and allowing myself to be seen and heard also means a lot to me,” she said.
The actress added that she hopes to enjoy greater creative freedom in the industry, which would allow her to experiment with different acting techniques and take bold risks in her craft.
“Having the creative liberty to take risks, experiment with different techniques and push the boundaries of my craft would be very fulfilling, though sadly we don’t really do that much here in Nigeria,” she noted.
