Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has bemoaned wanton killings in Kwara, Katsina, Benue, and other parts of the country, saying the murder of any Nigerian is an “unforgivable failure”.
Atiku made this known in a Thursday statement he personally signed, following the reported killings of over 200 people across the states this week.
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain added that the killings have left him in pains and called on the authorities to ensure proactive security.
Atiku said, “The reported massacres in parts of Kwara, Katsina and Benue are a damning confirmation that Nigeria has descended into a killing field.
