The Impact Investors Foundation (IIF) has announced the opening of nominations for its 2025 Annual Awards for Impact Investing, an initiative that recognises individuals and organisations creating measurable social and environmental value alongside financial returns.

Now in its seventh year, the Awards have become a flagship platform for celebrating changemakers whose work demonstrates the power of capital to drive inclusive and sustainable growth. Winners will be honoured at the IIF Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony, scheduled to hold during the 8th Annual Convening on Impact Investing on November 6, 2025, in Lagos.

Commenting on the announcement, IIF Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Etemore Glover, said: “Over the years, these awards have spotlighted pioneers who prove that capital can and must deliver more than financial returns. By recognising these leaders, we aim to inspire others to embed impact into their business and investment strategies, strengthening Nigeria’s journey toward becoming a thriving impact economy.”

Since inception, the IIF Awards have celebrated visionaries and enterprises working across healthcare, education, agriculture, gender inclusion, and financial services. Previous recipients include Alitheia Capital Management, FAMASI Africa, and the Centre for Legal Support and Inmates Rehabilitation (CELSIR).

For 2025, the Awards will continue to spotlight innovators across Nigeria and West Africa who demonstrate measurable impact. Nominations are open until September 30, 2025, via the IIF Awards website.

The Foundation reiterated its commitment to deepening Nigeria’s impact investing ecosystem by unlocking private capital, nurturing investment pipelines, and accelerating sustainable solutions.
