The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba, has embarked on a visit to some polling units in the Federal Capital Territory(FCT), to asses the security situation in the electoral process.
His first visit was to the Area Eight polling unit 16 and 17, located not to far from the Defence headquarters, where he went round to observe the conduct of the polling officers and voters.
The IGP was as at the polling unit located at the palace of the Chief of Garki, Sai-pai, to see the security situation there. The IGP, took time to go round the polling units.
