Igala sons and daughters of Kogi State under the auspices of Who Is Who in Igalaland have concluded plans to mark the 30th anniversary celebration of cultural heritage, achievement, and unity of the Igala kingdom, which is scheduled to hold early next month in Abuja.

Founded in 1995, Who Is Who in Igalaland, has honoured more than 500 distinguished individuals across education, governance, business, and the arts in recent times.

A statement by the President of the group, Chief Hilary Edime Amodu, disclosed that the platform has also supported scholarships and community projects, contributing to social and economic development within the Igala community.

Amodu said, “This year’s anniversary programme will feature cultural performances, an exhibition of traditional artifacts, and culinary displays, alongside keynote speeches and business dialogues.

“The event will also unveil new initiatives, including expanded scholarships for Igala students and mentorship schemes to support youth entrepreneurship.

“The 30th anniversary aims to strengthen unity between the Igala homeland in Kogi State and its diaspora communities, while fostering dialogue on education, infrastructure, and economic empowerment.
