Idoma International Carnival Unveils 2024 Theme, Date

The organizers of the annual Idoma International Carnival have announced the theme and date for the highly anticipated 2024 edition. 

This year’s event with the theme, “The Rhythm of Our Heritage,” kicks off December 24 to 26 in Otukpo, Benue State.

It promises to be an unforgettable celebration of the rich cultural tapestry and heritage of the Idoma people.
Now in its 12th year, the Idoma International Carnival, often hailed as the largest street party in northern Nigeria, has become a cultural touchstone, attracting participants and attendees from across the country and beyond.

The 2024 carnival will continue this tradition, offering a diverse array of activities that showcase the rich history, music, dance, fashion, and customs of the Idoma people. Highlights include cultural parades, a cuisine festival, music and dance extravaganzas, art exhibitions, symposiums, and a beauty pageant.
