The 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I), will be buried.
The monarch had joined his ancestors on July 7, a few days after his 90th birthday, and five days to his first coronation anniversary.
According to the bereaved family, the interment would be preceded by a funeral service at the Cathedral of Saint Peters, Aremo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The week-long funeral activities commenced on Monday with preliminaries of table tennis tournament, at Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
On Tuesday, the semi-finals of Oba Olakulehin Football Cup were played at Olubadan Stadium.
The final of the Oba Olakulehin Table Tennis Tournament was played on Wednesday at Lekan Salami Stadium, while the final of Oba Olakulehin Football Cup was also played on Wednesday.

Yesterday, Thursday August 7, a service of song will be held for the late Oba Olakulehin at the Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan.
Meanwhile, the Olakulehin Royal family has announced plans for the public presentation of a book: ‘How Not to Be a King’, in honour of their patriarch.
Chief Press Secretary to the late king, Chief Solomon Ayoade, explained that the book was published to commemorate Oba Olakulehin’s 90th birthday and first coronation anniversary.
The book, he stated, could not be publicly presented in July due ro the demise of the king. He added that the boom would be presented to the public during post-funeral reception.
The public presentation is scheduled to take place today, Friday, July 8, at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.
Giving insights into the book, Ayoade stated that the book documents the life and times of the late monarch.
Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is expected to attend the public presentation of the book.
