Prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry has knocked former Rivers State governor and minister of the Federal Capital Territory (ECT), Nyesom Wike, for refusing to heed his warning not to make Siminalayi Fubara governor.
“When Wike endorsed Fubara, I sent him a message and told him not to make him the governor, because he will not give him the loyalty that he is looking for; that Fubara was going to give him problems. Is that not what is happening now? It is too early to cry, it is too early to regret, it is too early to call your ‘wise man’s’ action a mistake because you have not seen anything yet from Fubara.”
Ikuru reiterated that many prophets in Nigeria give prophecies because they want money. “As for me, God has blessed me with wealth. By the grace of God, I am a billionaire and not looking for your money. I am not one of those hungry prophets that tell lies in the name of God so that you can give them money.”
The prophet maintained that he does not even need the money of a governor because it is meagre for his status and calibre. “What will I do with the money of a governor, when top clubs, players, WWE superstars, and boxers in the world call me to ascertain their fate before matches and bouts?”
He advised Wike to concentrate on the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Tinubu and better the lives of people living in the FCT because he is no longer the governor of Rivers State but FCT minister.
