Popular On-Air-Personality, Radiogad has defended TikTok sensation, Peller over his Runtown gaffe.

The TikToker stirred controversy during a recent livestream when he called Runtown an ‘up-and-coming artiste’.

A co-streamer had asked Peller to bring the ‘Mad Over You’ crooner on his livestream, but he turned down the suggestion, suggesting Runtown was unknown.

However, Peller apologised for his action during a livestream with Elizabeth Amoudu, explaining that he was too young to use a phone when Runtown was topping the charts.

Weighing in on the controversy, Radiogad said Runtown has not done enough to keep his name on the lips of music lovers.

“Runtown is boring and inconsistent with his music. An entertainer must stay relevant and be in the news every 2-3 months for people to remember you. So I don’t blame Peller for not knowing Runtown,” he said in an X post on Friday.
