Hurlarstringz Expands African Guitar Excellence Across UK Cultural and Diaspora Platforms

Guitarist and band leader Olalekan Zachariah Agbaje (Hurlarstringz) is steadily building a reputation as a cultural ambassador of African instrumental music, following a series of notable performances across the United Kingdom in late 2025.

His appearances at events such as Admiral Josh & Friends in Bradford, Aniki End-of-Year Concert, and the 100 Century Victory Variety Night organized by the Church of the Lord, Diocese of Europe, reflect a musician whose relevance cuts across worship, culture, and contemporary performance spaces.

Hurlarstringz’s background is as unconventional as it is compelling. A graduate of History and International Relations from Adekunle Ajasin University, he balanced music alongside a professional career in oil and gas before making a decisive return to music full-time in 2022. This transition marked a renewed focus on purpose-driven artistry and long-term brand building.

In 2025, he formally launched Hurlarstringz as a distinct musical brand—one centered on excellence, collaboration, and community impact. His work extends beyond performance into cultural preservation, youth inspiration, and diaspora engagement.

With confirmed appearances at the Chinese Festival in Sheffield and the Horley Community Arts Festival (April 2026), Hurlarstringz continues to position himself as a guitarist whose sound resonates across borders and audiences
