A suspected ritualist, Adewuyi Ismail, has been arrested by some hunters at a Muslim burial ground, Ede, Osun State, with a female head and intestine.
It was gathered that the suspect, a 28-year-old man, was arrested after exhuming a corpse and cutting off her head at Oke-Yidi, Ede.
The Public Relations Officer of the police in the state, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the arrest.
She stated that the suspect has been handed over to the police for investigation after he was arrested by hunters, led by one Usman Isa.
The police said the suspect was dragged to the station with a fresh female head and intestines.
She said the suspected ritualist was in the police net, adding that investigation had commenced on the matter.
