ReelsbyGeorge was born in March 2024, a period of personal healing for George following a tough heartbreak. What started as a distraction soon evolved into a passion-driven profession. The turning point came with a big break at Chivido 2025, a referral that marked the official commencement of his professional journey.
Looking back, George reflects on how his initial pursuit of healing has blossomed into a full-fledged career. “It’s been incredible inspiring young people across Nigeria and even beyond,” he shares, expressing gratitude for the challenges and growth experienced along the way.

The overnight surge in followers after Chivido 2024, jumping from 600 to over 10,000, reinforced the impact and reward of his work. George immersed himself in studying industry peers, watching videos, and continuously refining his skills.

George organized his first masterclass in December 2024 in Victoria Island, Lagos. The program, which focused on content creation and mobile videography, saw participation from over 250 students both physically and online. Recently, he won the Eko Heritage Award for Videographer of the Year 2025 and has been invited to speak at events like the Posh Click Foundation program.
Looking ahead, George is set to host his ReelsbyGeorge Masterclass again in November 2025 in Lagos and Abuja, with an online option for international students. This masterclass aims to equip participants with the skills to excel in mobile videography and content creation, fostering the next wave of creative minds.
