Suspected gunmen have killed a Point of Sale(POS) operator, GunmenLouis Enoshi in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State.
The incident occurred Wednesday evening at Ezzamgbo in the local government.
The gunmen had stormed Enoshi’s residence in Ezzamgbo and demanded for cash.
An eyewitness told Daily Sun that In the process, he was shot dead while the hoodlums made away with the cash, his phone and POS machine.
The deceased left his pregnant wife and two kids behind.
Gunmen have been terrorizing Ohaukwu local government in recent times, killing some residents of the area and destroying valuable properties.
Last month, a female vigilante member was shot dead by gunmen in Ngbo in the local government when the gunmen invaded the office of the Ngbo local vigilante in the area.
Acting Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Joshua Ukandu could not be reached when contacted on phone.
