Pastor Paul Adefarasin, the Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, has turned himself in  to the Police for allegedly holding a handgun while stuck in traffic.

The senior pastor is currently being interrogated at the Lagos state Police Command headquarters,GRA, Ikeja.

Lagos state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, yesterday said the pastor had turned himself in to the police and investigation had begun.

“Pastor Paul Adefarasin has turned himself in at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja.

“He is currently being interrogated by detectives, who have commenced investigation on the case since the video surfaced online.

“The video was showing the pastor holding a gun-like object against another road user, while driving in an unregistered vehicle, ” he said.

Hundeyin said that the outcome of the investigation would be made public.

According to the image maker, no one is above the law.

In the first  week in June, a video clip surfaced online showing Adefarasin allegedly holding what appeared to be a handgun while stuck in traffic.

The viral video led to public speculation, with some social media users alleging that the pastor was displaying a gun while being filmed by a TikToker known for documenting luxury cars.

However, Adefarasin, in a message to his congregation posted on his social media handles, denied the allegation.

He said that the object was not a firearm, and that he did not point it at anyone, adding,” l don’t have license to carry a pistol,so what I was holding is not a gun.”
