Gtext Homes and Gtext Land, key subsidiaries of Gtext Holdings, recently commemorated a decade of providing premium real estate solutions to the Nigerian market.
To mark this significant milestone, the company launched Phase 2 of its highly-anticipated Jasper Garden Estate in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, with a groundbreaking ceremony for 50 units of 3, 4, and 5-bedroom apartments.
Reflecting on the company’s journey, Olabisi Umoru-Dada, General Manager of Gtext Land, highlighted the impressive scale of their operations. “We’ve developed close to 30 estates across Nigeria and established a global presence with offices in the US, Dubai, and Doha,” she noted. Ms. Umoru-Dada emphasized that this expansive growth and international reach are a testament to Gtext’s unwavering commitment to excellence. Furthermore, she underscored the paramount importance of integrity in all company operations, stating, “We make sure we do the right thing. Our integrity, and our relationships with the government and our sellers, truly matter to us.” This focus on ethical practice has been crucial in securing the trust of clients and partners alike.
The company’s contributions to the Lagos housing sector were formally acknowledged by Lanre Agbomeji, a town planner representing the Lagos State Commissioner of Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Abiodun Olumide. “I’ve read about Gtext Homes’ commitment to providing affordable homes, and I believe they are playing a significant role in bridging the housing deficit in the state,” Mr. Agbomeji remarked.
James Udiong, General Manager of Gtext Homes, shed light on the company’s forward-thinking approach, stating, “We’re not just building houses; we’re creating a community that offers sustainability, safety, and luxury.” This philosophy is evident in their smart home designs, which are engineered to offer residents a seamless and convenient living experience. Mr. Udiong also highlighted the investment appeal of Gtext’s properties, noting the flexibility of payment plans: “You can pay in installments over a period of one to two, even three years.”
Focusing on sustainable development, Engineer Sonnie Osuki, a consultant and board member of Gtext Construction, detailed the innovative environmental strategy for the estate. “We are implementing a mini-grid system that utilizes solar power and batteries to provide energy, significantly reducing reliance on traditional power sources,” he explained. This not only minimizes the development’s environmental footprint but also ensures a reliable energy supply for residents.
Engineer Osuki also emphasized the meticulous attention to detail in the estate’s infrastructure, particularly concerning resident comfort and convenience. He highlighted the dedicated two-level parking lots (ground and first floor), eliminating common residential frustrations. “The infrastructure we’re going to put here ensures you won’t have someone knocking on your door at 5 am to repack a car because of insufficient space,” he stated. This focus on premium, well-planned convenience is a signature of Gtext’s Construction division. He concluded by encouraging prospective clients to seize the opportunity to invest in land banking with Gtext.
As Gtext Homes and Gtext Land continue to innovate and set new benchmarks in Nigeria’s real estate sector, their decade-long commitment to quality, sustainability, and client satisfaction is clearly reflected in both their existing portfolio and future developments.
