Group under the umbrella of Plateau South Youth Movement for Good Governance (PSYMFGG ) has passed a vote of confidence on the former Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District in the 9th Senate Prof. Nora Daduut as one of the most trusted person President Bola Ahmed Tinubu can think of working with in Plateau State.
They called on the President not to exercise any doubt on her personality or give listening ears to desperate politicians who are deploying campaign of calumny against the former Senator who has over the years continued to suffered various forms of attacks for not believing in their kind of politics despite her sacrifices for the progress of the APC in the State.
The Group led by Comrade Istifanus Jatau and Comrade Felix Emmanuel stated this while addressing Journalists on Saturday alongside other APC support groups, in Jos the State Capital.
They stressed that the Senator has an impressive performance in her previous national assignment as Senator representing Plateau South in the 9th National Assembly.
The Duo said they are so disappointed with the drivers of such destructive campaign, describing them as enemies of the State and passed a vote of confidence on the former Senator.
“Our attention has been drawn to a Press conference by a group operating under the umbrella of APC Plateau South Compatriots in which they accused our First Female Senator Prof. Nora Daduut of underperformance while in the 9th Senate.
“As a group we describe this allegations as false and baseless as Senator Nora Daduut invested all energies and resources in ensuring that the Senatorial district moved forward.”
They added, “If one Plateau man succeeds at the National level, it is a collective pride and it is for the good of the entire State. One would certainly want to align with himself or herself with success, but here we are with dissident persons whose empty minds talk failures rather than think and speak progress values for human development.
“The performance of Senator Nora Daduut in two and half years is an open record which enemies of progress refuse to see. We are passing a vote of confidence on Distinguished Senator Nora Ladi Daduut for bringing massive development to Plateau South Senatorial District.”
They said “If given a federal government appointment, Prof Senator Nora Daduut would bring her wealth of experience from the academic sector and key into the great plans President Tinubu has for the country” while expressing optimism that he will not deviate from his focus of having a better Nigeria.
