Political pressure group, Leadership Support Centre, has lauded the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, over the appointment of Sylvester Okonkwo as his Chief of Staff.
The group, in in a statement by Anderson Achilike, noted that Akpabio got it right in his choice of Chief of Staff. It stated that Okonkwo with his experience will add value to the Senate President, who is also the chairman of the National Assembly.
The statement reads, “The Senate President is in good hands. Chief Barrister Sylvester Okonkwo will definitely carryout his duties effectively.
“Okonkwo with his wealth of experience will as Chief of Staff lead and oversee all legislative, policy, communications, and constituent services strategies for the Chairman of the National Assembly, Akpabio.”
“Okonkwo will develop and implement all policy objectives, strategies, and operating plans for the Senate President for the betterment of the Parliament and Nigeria as a whole.”
