As Muslim faithful commemorate this year’s Eid al-Adha, a significant spiritual event in the Islamic calendar, Benue State Governor Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia has charged them to ensure they spread the love, sacrifice, tolerance and unity as preached by the Prophet Muhammad.
Governor Alia, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, urged the Muslim faithful to continue to pray for and support his administration and that of the Tinubu-led Federal Government as it strives to fulfil its electoral mandate to the people.
Alia expressed optimism that the state and country would surely overcome their current challenges.
The governor, while felicitating with the Muslim faithful, wished them a happy Eid al-Adha celebration.
