All Progressive Congress, APC has been declared winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Nafada Local Government Area of Gombe State the home town of PDP gubernatorial candidate, Bayaro, Usman Nafada.
Announcing the result of the LGA at the state’s collation centre, the collation officer Barakatu Abdullahi said: “Total registered voters for the LGA is 53, 610, while 21, 450 voters were accredited.”
She revealed that the total valid votes were 22, 138 out which APC got 15, 417 votes while PDP scored 5, 792.
Also result from Shongom LGA of Gombe State has revealed that PDP has taken the lead.
According to the Collation Officer of the LGA Dr. Beter Abdu, the total number of registered voters in the LGA was 62, 777 out of which 25, 129 were accredited and the total votes cast was 24, 339 while 1, 130 were rejected.
APC scored 9, 642 votes while PDP got 12, 871 votes. The rest votes were shared among other political parties including GDPN which got 68 votes.
