Parents seeking to raise their children with purpose, values, and faith will have a unique opportunity this Saturday, June 7, as the Godly Parenting Summit takes place at 8 AM at Mecelinas Place, Isaac John Street, Ikeja.
The transformative event, convened by Ify Okafor, a passionate advocate for family transformation, aims to equip parents with essential tools and knowledge. The summit will provide a platform for parents to connect, share experiences, and learn from experts in a supportive and uplifting environment.
Packaged and executed by Star Station Inc., known for its innovative community engagements, the summit will feature a series of keynote addresses, workshops, and panel discussions.
According to Okafor, attendees can expect to gain valuable insights and practical strategies for building strong, loving relationships with their children, instilling values and morals, navigating the challenges of modern parenting, and fostering a deep sense of faith and spirituality within their families.
“We believe that parenting is a sacred responsibility, and we want to provide a platform for parents to connect, learn, and grow together,” Okafor stated. “Our goal is to empower parents with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to raise their children with confidence, compassion, and faith.”
She further emphasized the summit’s comprehensive approach, saying, “The summit is designed to equip both mothers and fathers with practical, faith-based tools to raise responsible, grounded, and God-fearing children in today’s complex world.”
Drawing on her extensive experience in mentoring, ministry, and family coaching, Okafor promised an inspiring and “no-holds-barred session” that will challenge and empower all attendees, regardless of their marital status or parental experience, to lead their homes with divine wisdom.
“Admission is free, but the value is eternal,” Okafor added, encouraging a broad audience. “Whether you’re raising toddlers or teenagers, or planning for parenthood, this summit is for you.”
