Global youth training for leadership takes off

A Global Youth Training Programme to inculcate and sharpen leadership skills and capabilities among youths worldwide is set to take off.

The training programme is a collaboration between two nongovernmental organisations –  Culture of Peace Foundation (CUPEF) of Africa, and Future Leaders Training (FLT) of Iraq. It is geared towards preparing youths all over the world to take on the mantle of leadership in various countries and the world at large.

Founder and President of Culture of Peace Foundation, Mr. Farouk Chibuzo Akaolisa, disclosed that all requirements were in place for a successful take off of the three-month certificate programme.

“The founder of Future Leaders Training, Ms Noor Saed, is experienced in mentoring future leaders, as she has collaborated and organised several of such training programme in the past.

“Culture of Peace Foundation, which goal and objectives is to promote peace, amity and non-violent engagements is currently fostering new partnerships with international organisations, which include UnityNet International (Canada), Think Equal (United Kingdom), La Vérita Onlus International Diplomacy (Italy), Akila Dignidad (Ecuador) and South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA).

Mr. Akaolisa added that registration for the online training course has already commenced.
