Digital solutions provider, Globacom, has unveiled a new brand campaign, ‘Never Settle For Less’, alongside new products and services aimed at helping Nigerians achieve more.
The campaign was launched in Lagos ahead of the company’s 23rd anniversary this week.
According to Globacom, ‘Never Settle For Less’ is a call on Nigerians to demand the best and remain committed to achieving their goals, especially in an increasingly competitive world filled with opportunities.
The highlight of the event was the personal testimonies of guests who shared how refusing to settle for less had shaped their careers.
Fashion entrepreneur, Mai Atafo, recounted how he left a paid job as a brand manager with a major company to establish his own fashion label.
He said, “That decision to not settle was scary, but today it has positioned me as one of the best suit makers in Africa.”
Veteran journalist and broadcaster, Dr Reuben Abati, also shared his journey, saying his willingness to continually challenge himself and pursue greater achievements helped him reach the peak of his career.
Abati commended Globacom for its commitment to innovation over the years, describing innovation as “the soul of business” across technology, business development, entertainment and other sectors.
Nigerian musician, Chike, recalled that at the beginning of his career, he organised a concert that attracted only a small audience.
According to him, one of the few people who attended was a Nigerian media personality and television host, whose presence encouraged him to keep pushing.
Chike said his concerts are now consistently well attended, describing his journey as proof of the importance of refusing to settle for less.
Speaking on the campaign, Globacom representative, Uche Ogwuda, said digital services had become powerful tools for transforming lives.
She said Nigerians who understood the role of innovative telecommunications products and services in achieving success would appreciate the importance of the ‘Never Settle For Less’ philosophy.
