If it fails to land Ndombele

Galatasaray will consider a move for Leicester City star, Wilfred Ndidi if it cannot sign primary target, Tanguy Ndombélé.

According to Turkish news channel A Haber, the Super Lig champion is interested in buying a defensive midfielder before the end of the transfer window and has identified the Nigerian international as a target.

The 26-year-old Ndidi is being considered as an alternative to Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ndombélé.

Tottenham Hotspur deemed Galatasaray’s first bid for Ndombélé insufficient and it remains to be seen whether the Premier League club would accept a second bid.

Leicester City got relegated to the Championship last campaign alongside Southampton and Leeds United and the team is expected to lose some of its key players to other top clubs in Europe.

The Foxes have already lost the duo of Harvey Barnes and James Maddison to Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.

Ndidi is another player tipped to leave the Foxes before the close of the transfer window.

The former Genk midfielder has logged 237 appearances since landing at the King Power Stadium, scoring 11 goals while producing twelve assists.

He has also been linked with a move to Nottingham Forest.
