The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences, Enugu (FUAHSE), held its inaugural matriculation ceremony on April 12 at its Trans-Ekulu Campus, welcoming over 1,000 students.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. John Emaimo called the event historic, unveiling plans to pioneer courses in nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, speech therapy, and dental technology—unique in Nigeria’s federal universities.

“This is a hallmark… today we have translated that into reality,” Emaimo said. He emphasised producing well-rounded graduates with entrepreneurial skills, noting, “Every student is expected to graduate with a diploma in an area of entrepreneurship like piggery or catering.”
