Founder targets jobs, growth as Polish Crown enters beauty market

Opoku

A new entrant into Ghana’s beauty and grooming industry, The Polish Crown, has set its sights on job creation and long-term business growth as it rolls out plans to establish itself as a premium unisex grooming brand in the country.

The luxury salon, founded by Ebenezer Godbless Opoku, is positioning itself to tap into the rising demand for professional grooming services, driven by increasing awareness around personal style, appearance and confidence.

Speaking on the brand’s vision, Opoku said the business was conceived not only to provide high-end grooming services but also to contribute to economic development within the sector.

“We want to use The Polish Crown to redefine grooming in Ghana while also creating opportunities for employment and skills development,” he said.

He explained that the brand is designed as a full-service unisex salon offering premium grooming solutions for both men and women, with a strong emphasis on quality, professionalism and customer satisfaction.

According to him, “The brand focuses on precision grooming and hairstyling, unisex salon services, premium customer service, modern styling techniques, a clean, luxury-inspired environment, and personalized client care.”

Industry observers note that Ghana’s beauty and grooming market has continued to expand, supported by a growing middle class and increased spending on lifestyle and self-care services.

Opoku said The Polish Crown intends to leverage this trend by building a strong brand identity rooted in excellence and trust, with the goal of evolving into a recognised lifestyle brand.

Beyond service delivery, the company is also prioritising digital visibility as part of its growth strategy.

“The Polish Crown is establishing a strong digital presence to ensure accessibility and brand recognition across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and our official website,” he said.

He added that the move would enable the brand to connect with a wider audience, showcase its services and build a loyal customer base both locally and internationally.

Opoku’s professional background is also expected to strengthen the business structure of the brand. In addition to leading The Polish Crown, he serves as the Financial Manager at Afianscity Estate in Ghana, where he oversees financial operations.

Analysts say such a blend of financial discipline and creative enterprise could position the company for sustainable growth in a competitive market.

“As Ghana’s grooming and beauty industry continues to expand, The Polish Crown is entering the market with a vision focused on long-term growth and customer satisfaction,” Opoku said.

“With our commitment to premium service, modern styling, and a luxury unisex environment, we are positioning The Polish Crown to become a recognised name in Ghana’s beauty and grooming sector.”

Stakeholders say emerging brands like The Polish Crown reflect a broader shift in the industry, where innovation, professionalism and customer experience are increasingly shaping market success while contributing to economic activity and job creation.
