Elderstatesman, Prof. Jibril Aminu, has died at the age of 85. He would have been 86 in August.
Reports indicate that he died on Thursday morning in Abuja, after a brief illness.
In August 2024, during his 85th birthday, the National Universities Commission (NUC) penned down a tribute to Prof. Aminu, who was the pioneer Executive Secretary of the Commission, wishing him good health.
