Firm marks Children’s Day with joy, creativity and awards

itel Mobile Nigeria marked the 2026 Children’s Day celebration with a lively and colourful event in partnership with NTA Lagos Channel 10, bringing together pupils and teachers from more than 50 schools across Lagos State for a day of creativity, learning and fun.

Held under the theme Imagine. Create. Become., the event was organised as part of the company’s Love Always On Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, which focuses on supporting children, families and underserved communities through meaningful engagement and educational empowerment.

The celebration created an exciting atmosphere for children to express themselves through a range of entertaining and educational activities. Participants took part in dancing competitions, quiz sessions, puzzle games, painting exercises, musical performances and a colourful March Past parade.

One of the highlights of the day was the Miss Children’s Day Pageant, which showcased confidence, creativity and talent among the young participants.

Beyond the entertainment, itel also extended support to attendees by distributing stationery materials and food items to pupils and teachers. The winner of the pageant was rewarded with an itel City 200 smartphone in recognition of her outstanding performance.

Speaking during the event, itel’s ATL Marketing Manager, Dolapo Olorun-nimbe, said the initiative reflects the brand’s continued commitment to inspiring children and giving back to communities.

“At itel, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to dream, create and become their best selves. This initiative goes beyond celebration; it is about inspiring confidence, creativity and learning while giving back to the communities that continue to support our brand,” he said.

Digital Marketing Specialist, Preye Campbell, also reaffirmed the brand’s commitment to sustaining impactful CSR initiatives across Nigeria.

The event further reinforced itel’s promise of creating memorable experiences while contributing positively to the lives of children and families across the country.
