Firm empowers African students with $3.2m funding

AfriCred has announced the successful facilitation of $3.2 million in education funding for African students.

The funding was secured for students in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa to enable them to pursue their academic aspirations at universities across the USA, Canada, and United Kingdom all at competitive interest rates of below 15 per cent.

On the importance of the initiative, Managing Director, AfriCred, Saddharth Maheshwari, disclosed that the project will help break financial barriers hindering students’ dreams of studying abroad.

In addition to traditional academic programs, the firm has formed strategic alliances with over 25 universities across the UK, USA, France, and Spain to offer guaranteed online degree loans.

These loans, available for a range of courses including MBA, BBA, MSc, Doctorate, and Diplomas, come with a remarkably low interest rate of just 10% APR.
