As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to commemorate Workers’ Day 2025, Origin Tech Group Nigeria has lauded the resilience, commitment and innovation of Nigerian workers, describing them as the bedrock of national progress and economic self-reliance.
In a statement marking the occasion, Samuel Joseph Samuel, Executive Chairman of Origin Tech Group, paid tribute to the country’s workforce, applauding their contributions across sectors despite persistent socio-economic challenges.
“They are the builders, thinkers, and doers who are shaping a self-reliant nation,” Samuel said.
With operations spanning automobile manufacturing, agricultural mechanisation, infrastructure, and logistics, Origin Tech Group acknowledges that its success, and that of the broader Nigerian economy, is anchored on the dedication of its workforce and millions of others across the nation.
“Every day, our workers are not just doing jobs. They are solving problems, enabling productivity, and moving Nigeria closer to economic independence,” the Executive Chairman noted.
He emphasised the importance of workers as agents of transformation, noting that when businesses and employees align in their pursuit of excellence, the result is a more prosperous and sustainable future.
“We believe Nigeria has a bright future. When both workers and businesses stay committed to excellence, integrity, and service, they help transform entire sectors and communities,” Samuel added.
The Group also extended heartfelt appreciation to its own team of engineers, designers, technicians, drivers, marketers, and strategists.
“To the dedicated individuals who make up the Origin Tech Group team, you are the heart of our work and your dedication is the reason we continue to move forward,” Samuel said. “Thank you for being the Originals. You lead with courage, serve with purpose, and build with vision. Today, and always, we celebrate you.”
