The third edition of The Africa Creative Market (ACM) is set to spotlight the role of technology in enhancing profitability, job creation and long-term sustainability within the creative industry.
Scheduled to hold in Lagos, September, under the theme “Innovation Meets Imagination,” ACM 3.0 will bring together a diverse array of stakeholders from Africa and the world over. The event, hosted by Ascend Studios Foundation, aims to showcase how technology can be harnessed to improve profitability and foster growth in sectors such as fashion, film, music, gaming, animation, and e-sports.
According to the organizers, “ACM transcends being a mere marketplace, it serves as a catalyst for change, driving sustainable growth, job creation, and socio-economic development across the continent. By Promoting a data-driven understanding of creative trade, facilitating access to trade finance, and equipping African creatives with essential skills and resources, ACM 3.0 aims to unlock the full potential of Africa’s creative economy.”
With an estimated attendance of over 10,000 guests from 25 countries and 45 leading exhibitors, ACM 3.0 will facilitate significant cross-cultural dialogues and set new standards for global creative collaboration. It will feature a range of activities designed to explore and implement technological solutions. These include; conferences, workshops, and panel discussions focused on how digital tools and data-driven strategies can be applied to creative enterprises.
Building on the success of previous editions, it seeks to amplify its impact on the creative economy through strengthened collaborative opportunities, the empowerment of creative entrepreneurs, and a robust push towards innovative practices.
