Financial inclusion drive tops agenda as Xpress Payments clocks 10

Xpress Payment Solutions Limited has said expanding financial inclusion and advancing digital payments will remain key priorities as it marks its 10th anniversary, amid growing efforts to deepen access to financial services across Nigeria.

The company will engage key stakeholders at  public lecture on the future of digital payments and financial inclusion, stakeholder engagement sessions, corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives as part of activities lined up for the anniversary.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Xpress Payment Solutions Limited, Wale Olayisade, said the payments industry would continue to play an important role in Nigeria’s economic development as the country’s digital economy expands. According to him, “the payments industry will remain central to economic development. Xpress Payments remains focused on building solutions that empower businesses, support government initiatives and improve access to financial services for millions of Nigerians.”

Olayisade said the company’s anniversary activities were designed to promote discussions around innovation, partnerships and the role of technology in expanding access to financial services.

He noted that the company had spent the last decade providing electronic payment, collection, bills payment and funds disbursement services across different sectors of the economy.
