United States-based artificial intelligence company, BBCMGTai Inc., has entered into a strategic partnership with the Port Harcourt-based STEM Festival Global Initiative to expand global opportunities for African Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) talents.
The partnership, which took effect on April 1, 2026, positions BBCMGTai Inc. as the North American partner of the STEM Festival Global Initiative, registered under the STEM Festival Foundation.
As part of the agreement, founder and Chief Executive Officer of BBCMGTai Inc., Osaretin Agbonavbare, has been appointed to the Board of Advisors of the STEM Festival Global Initiative, effective April 18, 2026.
Under the collaboration, BBCMGTai Inc. will facilitate access to international funding opportunities, university placements and scholarship pathways across the United States and North America for STEM Festival participants, while also representing the initiative on global innovation platforms.
The partnership extends to BBCMGTai Inc.’s affiliated platforms, including David Online Business School, which will provide entrepreneurship and business education pathways for graduates, and RemoteConet, a remote workforce platform expected to connect top talents to international job opportunities.
The STEM Festival Global Initiative operates an innovation pipeline focused on talent discovery, innovation development, commercialisation and global opportunity access. Participants work on solutions spanning Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Software Development, Internet of Things, Animation and Game Development, Drone Technology and Blockchain.
Participants from the initiative have represented Nigeria in international competitions and programmes in Panama, Turkey and Singapore. Organisers disclosed that one of the initiative’s 2024 AI and Robotics champions is currently studying Cybersecurity at Anna Maria College, Massachusetts, through an international scholarship facilitated by the programme.
The partnership was formally introduced during the 2026 ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, where Agbonavbare represented BBCMGTai Inc. as an approved delegate.
Speaking on the development, Agbonavbare said Africa possesses enormous youth potential but continues to face barriers relating to access and institutional support.
“Africa holds the largest youth population in the world. The challenge is not talent — it is access and structure. This collaboration represents a step toward building the pathways that connect talent to global opportunity,” he said.
Creative Director of the STEM Festival Global Initiative, Gabriel Misa Gabramns, described the partnership as a major step in strengthening Africa’s innovation ecosystem.
According to him, the initiative is focused on creating a problem-solving platform that enables innovators across different age groups to develop scalable solutions with real economic value.
“We are pleased to welcome BBCMGTai Inc. as a strategic U.S.-based partner and to have Agbonavbare join our Board of Advisors. His global perspective and expertise in artificial intelligence strengthen our ability to connect African innovators to meaningful opportunities,” Gabramns stated.
Agbonavbare, a professional with expertise in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Counselling Psychology and Information Technology, holds an MBA in Information Technology from Western Governors University and has authored more than 50 works focused on artificial intelligence, business development and economic empowerment.
He recently represented BBCMGTai Inc. at the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings in Washington DC, the Forbes Under 30 Summit in Phoenix and the UN ECOSOC Forum in New York.
BBCMGTai Inc., headquartered in Houston, Texas, is currently developing iBARE, an AI-powered humanoid companion platform designed to integrate emotional support, life management and business intelligence for entrepreneurs and underserved communities.
