Fidelity Bank rewards female customers in Imo

The Fidelity Bank Nigeria Plc has shown appreciation to its female customers as it trained and empowered five customers in Owerri the Imo State capital in its ongoing “HerFidelity program”.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony of the beneficiaries trained in fashion and design, the Regional Business Director of the bank, Nwabueze Mbanacho, explained that the program is designed to encourage and support women with skills to reciprocate the same gesture to their families.

Besides the training and empowerment, Mbanacho noted that Fidelity Bank had through the same program donated classroom blocks to female schools in the State.

He said ” Fidelity Bank is here to make a change in Nigeria, we understand that it’s difficult for some families to send their children to school, so we have through this program assisted, we donated some classroom blocks to some female schools in the State.

“Today we’re empowering those we have trained in fashion and design, the world today is trendy and Fidelity bank is offering opportunities to the gender, we hope to increase the number as we forge ahead”. Mbanacho said.

Earlier, the Group Head of the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) of the bank, Esther Ibekwe, in her speech emphasised that women have long been sidelined in so many aspects of life, asserting that the program is one way Fidelity is leveraging on to correct the gender inequality.
