FG to create favourable environment for private sector

The federal government has expressed readiness create a conducive environment for the private sectors to sour in business hub.

Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi stated this at the unveiling of the Bondpay app in Abuja.

Abdullahi represented by the Deputy Director, Digital Economy in the Agency Mr. Preyed Itonyo stressed that government would to collaborate with Bondpay financial application to build trust between sellers and buying across the globe.

“We are doing a whole lot but our focus basically is to make sure that we develop the sector by creating the right environment and have the right developmental regulations for entrepreneurs” he added.

He added that government has created a feed back mechanism in ensuring that all bottlenecks encountered by the business hubs are eliminated to create an easy flow in business transactions.

“We are here to hear from them and know their challenges and ours now is to make sure we assist in addressing those challenges.”

On his part, the co-founder, of Bondpay, Dr. Chibuike Echem insisted that the payment platform would strengthen Nigerian online marketing system.

“We are creating a platform where Nigerians would be ease to do business online. The online business is a multi billion naira market that is exposed to a lot of risk. But with Bondpay,the challenges of lack of trust would be eliminated,” Dr Echem stated.

He added that the payment platform would eliminate the challenges of trust in the economic sector.

“In the next ten years, we are looking at Bondpay been the major online trust payment platform for every Nigerian, African and across the globe,” he emphasised.

Earlier another co-founder of the app, John Ebokpo, said the platform would erase the fear of frauds in the economic sectors.

The unveiling drew participants from government agencies, top government officials and stakeholders from the technology industry.
