Federal Government is pushing for a multi-billion naira Diaspora City to accommodate Nigerians living outside the country

Speaking at the launch of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA) Digitalization Drive, yesterday, in Abuja, the Managing Director (MD) of FHA, Oyetunde Ojo, acknowledged that the digitalisation initiative is aimed at providing shelter to all cadres of Nigerians across the states irrespective of tribal or political affiliations.

“The authority is also getting set for the takeoff of the Diaspora City initiative meant to help our people living outside the country to have befitting homes in the country” he said

To this effect, he said, the enormous nature of the projects has made FHA more expedient to develope the project.

“We are repositioning an FHA where people could stay in the confines of their homes and monitor their investments with us, buy houses, obtain any information they want just by the click of a button

“Digitalisation is not just about adopting new tools and technologies, it’s about transforming our mindset, processes and culture to embrace innovation and change. It’s about empowering our employees with contemporary tools and resources they need to excel in today’s digital age” he said

According to Ojo, the launch of digitalisation drive signifies commitment to modernise and streamline operations; enhance service delivery and better serve the needs of stakeholders.

“By leveraging the power of technology we aim to revolutionise the way we work, collaborate and innovate within FHA” the MD remarked.
