…As labour demands N250,000

The Federal Government has proposed a new national minimum wage of N62,000, a N2,000 increase from its previous offer of N60,000, while organised labour has reduced its demand from N494,000 to N250,000.
Daily Sun learned that the Organised Private Sector is also proposing N62,000, this comes shortly after the Nigerian Governors Forum said it would be unable to pay N60,000 as minimum wage.
