To mark Good Friday and Easter celebrations, the Federal Government has declared Friday and Monday as public holidays
Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (red), announced this in Abuja yesterday.
He enjoined all Christian faithful and Nigerians in general to “support, co-operate and join hands with President Muhammadu Buhari, in his sustained efforts to build a peaceful, united and virile nation.”
Dambazau further urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for peace and unity across the nation.
“The minister wishes all Nigerians a happy Easter celebration,” the statement added.
